Review:
This album is the only way I have found of getting anything by J*S*T*A*R*S on CD. Track 5 - "Spansules" is actually from a double A side 12" vinyl, the other side of which is a tune called "Loose Nuke Threat" which was used on the John Lewis TV ads in Spring 2004.
Spansules, and the other J*S*T*A*R*S track on this album are really catchy dance tunes. All of the tracks on the CD range from good to fantastic (Spansules is my personal favourite), with a range of tempo and style. And any "sampler" CD with 10 full length tracks on it for a fiver has to be described as "worth trying unless you're as tight as a duck's rear end". Especially with tracks by someone called Mandrillus Sphinx!
If you like Fila Brazilia, The Herbliser, and that kind of stuff, you'll like this album. If you've no idea what I'm rambling on about, it would be worth a few quid of your hard-earned to expand your horizons a little. Either way, it's the best value CD I've bought in a dog's age.
